Elks Care - Elks Share in Southern California

In our recent Post we neglected to include the menu for our Lodge dinner tomorrow night — a/k/a Friday Night Dinner at the Lodge. Terry Hache is our chef for this Friday night — and her menu  features tri-tips of beef — along with cheesy potatoes — yes! — cheesy potatoes — roasted veggies —  salad — and bread pudding for dessert. 

We serve from 5:30pm until 7:00pm on Friday nights — and the price per plate remains at $12.
Usually — when we have tri-tips on our Friday night menu — we draw a big crowd — our advice is to arrive early and avoid the rush! Our bar will open around 4:00pm.

Saturday morning — May 29th — our bar will open at 10:30am. We will be serving hamburgers from 11:00am until 1:00pm. Burgers with fries or chips are still priced at $6 — a real deal!

Darryl Harper will be “flipping burgers” for us this Saturday morning. FYI — Darryl will be having shoulder surgery within the next few days — the doctors tell him to expect at least a three month recuperation period. Darryl has been an employee of our Lodge for the past several years — there will be a “tip jar” available in case you wish to contribute something extra to assist  Darryl while he is out of work and recuperating for the next three months or so.

Memorial Day is Monday — May 31st — please excuse our previous Posts which had an incorrect date. There are no events scheduled for this weekend at our Lodge. Please refer to our recent Posts for certain non-Elk events. 

Please take some time during this Memorial Day weekend to reflect on the sacrifices that have been made on our behalf — and to remember — and thank — those who have gone before us. We are fortunate to live in the greatest country ever on this Earth! Be Proud! Be Thankful! Be Happy!
