We have a gala Holiday weekend planned for YOUR Escondido Elks Lodge:
Our bar opens on Friday –July 2nd — at 4:00pm. The menu for our Friday Night Dinner at The Lodge features stir fry beef & broccoli —homemade fried rice — an oriental salad —and egg rolls. For dessert we will be serving brownies with ice cream.
Our chefs for Friday evening will be Tim & Linda Lyons. Cost remains at $12.
On Saturday morning –July 3rd — our bar opens at 10:30am — as usual. However — instead of our usual hamburgers — we will be having a very special luncheon of BBQ spare ribs — with “Grandma Bennetts” baked beans and Cole slaw — all served on the patio.
Terry Hache is our chef this Saturday — assisted by Cindy Temple & Glen Foss. Cost is only $8! We will be serving our BBQ luncheon from 11:00am until 1:00pm.
Note: Terry Hache tells us there might be some chicken dinners available for those who do not care for BBQ ribs.
We have a Sunday Dance scheduled for Independence Day — which is Sunday, July 4th. Our bar will open around noon — the dance will start at 2:00pm and is scheduled to end at 5:00pm. The cost of admission is $12 — except that Elks members are admitted for $10.
The Sunday dancers have been encouraged to wear patriotic attire — there will also be some patriotic music suitable for the occasion.
Our Lodge office will be closed on Monday —July 5th.
