Because you are on our mailing list — and you are a member of our Escondido Elks Lodge — you have recently received duplicate emails from the Webmaster.
The truth is we were trying to send this week’s activity notice in a slightly different manner — which required using a website we had not used in sometime — and we in fact sent the same email twice — which is better than not sending it at all — but please accept our apologies if we caused you any inconvenience.
While we have your attention we remind you that our dinner theater will be held on this coming Saturday night — September 18th. It will be a fun evening —plus valuable prizes will be awarded if you are able to solve the mystery. The theme for the evening is Western — pork ribs are featured on the menu — and cowboy attire is appropriate. Reservations are always appreciated but are not required.
And remember the Padres game on Sunday — September 26th. We have rented a bus and have secured great seats. We still have tickets available. Call the Elks office to reserve your seat on the bus & a ticket to the game. For more details we refer you to the information printed on page #1 of your September Elkherd.
