Escondido Elks Players Present
“Homicide on the Range”
We have a real treat in store for us this coming Saturday night (September 18th) — our own ensemble of Escondido Elks Players will present the highly anticipated– and opening performance — of the “soon to be famous” play “Homicide on the Range”. There will be a dinner starting at 5:00pm — the curtain opens and the play starts at 6:00pm. During the dessert course the audience will have an opportunity to solve the mystery — and valuable prizes will be awarded. Cost of the dinner and the play is $20. Reservations are always appreciated. Since the overall theme of the evening is western — as in cowboy — the menu is western — as in pork ribs — and western style dress is also the suggested dress.
Other Lodge activities this week include: Game night on Thursday (9/16) — social quarters open at 4:00pm and snacks — chili dogs — are available. Our menu for our Friday Night Dinner at the Lodge is ham and mac and cheese — Diane is our chef for Friday night — we will serve from 5:30 pm until 7:00pm — the cost remains at $15.
The social quarters open at 10:30am on Saturday morning with hamburgers available from 11:00am until 1:00pm.
Do not forget “Homicide on the Range” is this Saturday Night.
We will have our Sunday Dance this Sunday afternoon –September 18th — the social quarters be at 1:00pm and dancing is from 2:00pm until 5:00pm with music by “The Pier Group”.
