This is your reminder that your Lodge — Escondido Elks #1687 — has a regularly scheduled Lodge meeting tonight — starting at 7:00am. We will be balloting on several new initiates. Our next initiation is scheduled for October 27th.
The Lodge meeting tonight starts at 7:00 pm. There will be snacks available at around 6:00 pm.
The Lodge will be open for Game Night at 4:00pm tomorrow — Thursday — October 14th. There will be snacks available.
Our Friday Night Dinner at the Lodge will feature pulled pork, baked beans — actually we will be serving “Grandma Bennetts specially baked beans” — a veggie and a salad. There will be a special surprise dessert. We serve on Friday nights from 5:30pm until 7:00pm and the cost is $15. Our ER — Diane Allen — will be our chef this Friday night.
Saturday — October 16th — our bar opens at 10:30am. We will be serving burgers from about 11:00am until 1:00pm. There will be orientation for new members on Saturday beginning about 11:00am.
The CVMA motorcycle association will hold their monthly meeting at our Lodge on Sunday — October 17th. They will be having a breakfast starting at 8:30am.
Our bar will re-open around 1:00pm on Sunday. Our Sunday Dance— with music by “The Pier Group” — is scheduled to begin at 2:00pm and will end at 4:30pm.
And do not forget that our Lodge is also open on Monday nights and we will have “Monday Night Football” on several TV channels.
Thinking about Halloween? Your Lodge has a Halloween Costume Dinner-Dance scheduled for Saturday — October 30th. We have attached a flyer with more information. We are now taking reservations for our October 30th dinner/dance.
