Wednesday — March 9th — There will be an Elks Lodge meeting starting at 7:00pm. All Elks are welcome and encouraged to attend.
The Lodge opens at 5:00pm — there will be a light supper served. ER Diane has called for a special Directors meeting starting at 6:00pm.
Thursday — March 10th – The Lodge opens at 4:00pm for Game Night. Light snacks will be available.
Friday — March 11th — The Lodge opens at 4:00pm. Our Friday Night Dinner at The Lodge is either grilled chicken or
“grill your own steak” night — or fish — in deference to the Lenten season. Diner is served from 5:30pm until 7:00pm.
Saturday — March 12th — The Lodge opens around 10:30am. We will be serving burgers from 11:00 until 1:00pm.
Members of the Corvette Club will be in charge of burgers this Saturday. Cheeseburgers —with fries — are still only $6.
Our Saturday morning crowds keep growing — always a fun time.
Special event for this Saturday morning: We will be welcoming several Girl Scouts who will be selling Girl Scout cookies. Sharon Govoni —
assisted by several scouts — and their parents — is in charge of this activity. Sharon tells us that if we donate money – but elect NOT
to take the cookies — then the Girl Scouts will donate the cookies to members of our armed forces.
(Some of us prefer the cookies — but we could also chip in a little extra to help our service members.)
Who among us can resist a Girl Scout?
Saturday — March 12th — We will have a Country Western Dance with music by “Nitro Express”. There will be dance lessons starting at 6:30pm
and open dancing from 7:30pm until 10:00pm. Admission the the dance is $12 — except that Elk members are only charged $10.
There is no Sunday dance and the Lodge is dark on this Sunday — March 13th.
Looking forward to seeing you at YOUR Lodge!
