Greetings to our Escondido Elks Lodge members and guests!
We had a great night last night with our first Thursday Night dinner with Huggie. Great food — big crowd. If you missed it — Huggie has another
great Thursday night dinner planned for next week. Stay tuned for the menu on a later email post.
Tonight — Friday April 1st — we are having our Friday Night Dinner at the Lodge — our chef is Lynda Lyons and her menu features either ahi tuna or yellowtail — accompanied by fried rice and stir fry veggies.We serve from 5:30pm until 7:00pm. Cost is $12 — another great meal at a reasonable price!
Our Lodge will open tomorrow morning — Saturday April 2nd — at the usual time — around 10:15 or 10:30am.
We serve burgers on Saturdays from 11:00am until 1:00pm. Darryl will be our visiting chef — with his specialty — fried onions.
The Sunday breakfast planned for this Sunday morning has been cancelled. Repeat: no Sunday brunch this Sunday.
However, the Sunday dance scheduled for this Sunday — April 3rd — has definitely NOT been cancelled. We will be dancing to the music
of “American Roots” starting at 2:00pm until 5:00pm this Sunday afternoon. Admission to dance is $12 — except that Elks are admitted for $10.
On this Sunday our Lodge will open around 12:30pm or so.
Don’t forget that our Lodge is also open this Monday night at 4:00pm. Mondays are “Card Night” and bar snacks are available.
