We have a full calendar of events scheduled for this week at YOUR Escondido Elks Lodge.
There will be a Lodge meeting & initiation on Wednesday, January 25th starting at 7:00pm. (There will also be a light dinner served at 6:00pm.)
The bar will open at 4:00pm on Thursday, January 26th, for Game Night. Light snacks will be available.
Friday night’s dinner will feature Mediterranean chicken — prepared by Terry. Our Friday Night dinners are served from 5:30pm until 7:00pm.
The bar will open at 10:00am on Saturday, January 28th. Burgers will be offered until 1:00pm.
As previously announced, we will have a Memorial Service and a Celebration of Life for Steve Wagstaff, PER on this Saturday afternoon — the hours are from 2:00pm until 4:00pm. All are invited.
We are also having a Saturday Night Live dance on this Saturday night — January 28th — with dance lessons starting at 6:00pm and open dancing from 7:30pm until 10:00pm. There will be music by Alias. Admission is $12.00 — except that Elks — who show their card — will be admitted for $10.00.
(NOTE: Tom and Maureen Iverson — chairpersons for our SNL dances — have asked us to announce that they need additional volunteers to assist with our SNL dances. Please contact the Iverson’s or show up and they will put you to work at this Saturday Night Life dance.)
We have previously announced our Purple Pig Fundraiser is scheduled for this Sunday — January 29th. We will be serving breakfast from 9:00am until 1:00pm.
The bar will be open — with light snacks available — until the two NFL playoff games are completed.
