Monday (4/8) – Grill Menu, Cards
Grill menu: Tuscan Grilled Chicken, French Dip, Wings to order, Bacon Cheddar Burger, Fish and Chips, Fish Tacos, all with fries. Spring Rolls, Soup of the day: Pinto Beans & Ham

Tues(4/9) – closed

Wed (4/10) – Officer Installation – Special Dinner followed by Install
5pm Social Hour, 6pm Installation Dinner, 7pm Installation of Officers.  The install is an open meeting, non-members can attend.  People can also come for the dinner only or ceremony only.  Dinner is Short Ribs, Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, glazed carrots, salad, sourdough bread, dessert fruit cobbler, $18, reservations required, business attire (see attached flyer)

Thursday (4/11) – Grill Menu, Cards, Shuffleboard League
Grill menu: Tuscan Grilled Chicken, French Dip, Wings to order, Bacon Cheddar Burger, Fish and Chips, Fish Tacos, all with fries. Spring Rolls, Soup of the day.

Steak & loaded baked potato, including salad, dessert, bread & butter.  Chef Tim, $18, Live Music by Sonny

10am Lodge Social Quarters open as usual, Hamburger Time 11-1pm.

Sunday Breakfast 9-noon: Breakfast cooked to order:
Eggs any style or Omelets.  Special is Eggs Benedict
Bacon, Sausage, Biscuits & Gravy, Hash Browns, Coffee, Juice.
All for $10, except for omelets and eggs benedict $12

Pork Loin Dinner tonight at the Elks!

Come down and enjoy apricot glazed pork loin with apple sauce, mashed potatos and gravy, carrots & broccoli, loaded salad, fresh rolls, and homemade cake.  Soooo much better than  cooking at home.  Cheaper too, only $15  😀

Volunteer Opportunity for District Ritual Competition

Lodge Ritual Practice and Competition Request

The Lodge needs a substitute Chaplain and Tiler to participate in the upcoming District Ritual Competition. Due to a personal conflict, our Lodge Chaplain and the Tiler are unable to participate. If you can find the time, the ER and the Lodge would really appreciate your help. Please call 408-833-4292 ASAP.

Practices are held on Saturday mornings on the following dates.

We will begin at 10 AM sharp. Please

March 23rd and 30th.
April 6th, 13th, and 27th / No Practice April 20th – CVMA SUR all day.
April 27th / Dress Rehearsal 10 AM.

Ritual Competition is May 4th or 5th at 9 AM at El Cajon Lodge. (We can car pool if you wish.)

We also need a person to be the “Candidate” for the competition.

Although the Tiler position does not compete, we need the Tiler to attend the practices to assist with the Lodge Room doors to assist the Inner Guard and Esquire.

We all have busy schedules. If something comes up at the last minute and you can not attend a practice, please let Robert or I know. That way we will have someone to fill in for that practice.

Practices will be no more than one hour.

The practice for ritual competition is at 10am – 11, Sat, 3/16.  They are still looking for people to help if interested.

 

The food handler’s class has been rescheduled to 11am – 12, Sat, 3/16.  For people who can’t make that time, a follow on will be scheduled.
